Classrooms

ABC Private School hired an interior designer to set up our classrooms with Feng Shui principles in mind, as well as furniture proportional to the children. Feng Shui creates rhythm between the interior space and exterior landscape. When interior and exterior are in balance, a good healthy life force is created.  Healthy chi is said to make the occupants of the space alert and enabled to make the most of opportunities that happen around them. Good chi will bring them good health, relationships and prosperity.

Bright colors are used in the decoration of ABC Private School, and art is encouraged to come from the children. Children may put their artwork in our frames for display on the walls.

Themes present in each classroom (in addition to reading, writing and arithmetic) include:

  •  global cultures
  •  technology
  •  water and earth
  •  healthcare, nutrition and fitness
  •  animal compassion
  •  art
  •  governance.

Students are encouraged to bring current events and share their own experiences with their classmates daily.

Students often go on educational field trips and take visits to community parks where they can run and play.  ABC Private School owns a van that can hold up to 15 persons.  Permission from parents is required for students to travel with the school.

Even on gloomy days, my daughter brightens up when she enters her classroom at ABC School. The bright colors add cheer and a provide a positive climate for learning.
